The 3D Digital Product Creation Lead-Apparel is a critical role in the successful scaling of Patagonia 3D digital implementation. You are leading the evolution and adoption of the 3D creation process across product teams, allowing for more sustainable product creation. The 3D create lead is managing the building and scaling of the 3D infrastructure necessary for sustainable digital product creation. Acting as a catalyst for change and a keen understanding of the DPC business priorities, system requirements, and user needs is necessary. You have excellent communication and collaboration skills with all levels of the business.

What You’ll Do:

–-Drive the digital product creation process through standards, education, and best practices.
–Provide 3D digital application knowledge and apply it to the needs of Patagonia.
–Lead the parallel bodies of work necessary for building and evolving the Digital Product Creation infrastructure.
–Support the Digital Product Creation Lead as a liaison between product groups, IT, and the project team; translates business requirements into system requirements.
–Communicate with external technology vendors and content providers to align the needs of Patagonia with the tools.
–Engaged in all implementation project details, working with cross functional partners to create and drive high impact work.
–Focus on process improvement to assist teams in unlocking how digital technology enables effective workflows, driving to more efficiency and better results.
–Create, re-iterate, and articulately communicate the digital ways of working and how this is combined with physical product creation.
–Support the design, implementation, and achievement of scaled digital product creation.
–Partner with workstream leads to drive progress and deliverables to meet company goals.
–Maintain relationships with DPC colleagues, across industry, to gain insight into use of tools and other potential products to supplement/support innovative digital product creation.

Experience You Bring

–3-5+ years’ experience in the application of 3D digital product creation in an apparel environment.
–Degree in a related field (Apparel, Design, Product Development, Technology, Engineering).
–Proven experience with change process management with the following teams and functions; Material Development, Design, Product Development, Color, Assortment Planning, Size & Fit, –Sales Sampling, Production, and Planning.
–Excellent understanding of the apparel commercialization process from inception through production.
–Highly proficient in application of procedural approaches to apparel creation and refining of methodology in a digital environment.
–Ability to demonstrate and create compelling visuals that showcase new process and ways of working considering different audiences and functions.
–Proven experience working with groups across difference in respectful and equitable ways.
–Working knowledge of personal computers with experience in such programs as Browzwear, Adobe Suite, Excel, Smartsheet, and Microsoft office.
