Are you an experienced Community Manager with a passion for empowering creators and technologists to build immersive story content? Flipside XR is seeking a Community Manager (contract) to build and execute a community development and support plan.

Flipside XR builds VR tools for immersive Creators. Coming from creative and performant backgrounds, we are a small team who are passionate about enabling people to turn any room into a stage. We want our Community Manager to carry our enthusiasm for performance to the people who use our products and help them to better understand and use our software, connect with each other, and share their creations with the world.

 

Role Expectations

-Develop and action on approved plans that drive Flipside XR community growth, engagement, and product usage, with a focus on leveraging Discord
-Create and lead the hands-on execution of community response and engagement plans on app store platforms where Flipside XR product is sold
-Provide regular reporting of performance against plan KPIs
-Create and follow through on processes that support the collaboration with internal technology and engineering teams to ensure community needs are met, and community feedback is shared in a timely and effective manner
-This is a solo role but will work closely with the product and marketing teams.

 

What we are looking for with our Community Manager

-Proven experience in growing communities and engagement levels, preferably within the XR or broader software industry
-Strong experience with community management on Discord, and ideally also app store platforms
-A creative solutions-oriented thinker with experience in both developing and executing successful community plans including tactics and processes
-A passion for VR
-Experience collaborating with internal technology and engineering teams to ensure community needs are met, and community feedback is shared in a timely and effective manner
-Eager to work in a dynamic environment
-A flexible schedule to support community needs during set weekly hours which may fluctuate

 

Note: This is a 6-month part-time contract with an option to renew.
