The shoe shopper simply uses their smartphone’s camera to focus their attention on their feet where it overlays a 3D model of the selected shoe. You can then use the included carousel to change the color of shoes of the same style while staying in the camera view. From here, shoppers can also take a photo of their virtual try-on by tapping the share icon for saving or sharing on social media.

Simply looking at a photo of a show, a buying decision can be hard without visualizing oneself wearing them. AR aids the buying decision to ensure what you see is what you get. Using this app you can also move your feet to see different angles and even walk with your shoes on. However, it doesn’t solve the issue of fit that requires additional 3D scanning technology.
